Welcome to the Catalyst Programme Application!

Ready to ignite your future in healthcare or science? We’re thrilled you’re considering joining Catalyst, a full-day immersive programme for 16–18 year olds, hosted by Doceo x BWiS and supported by the UKRI Medical Research Council. This programme is designed to give you first-hand insight into careers in healthcare and the sciences through interactive workshops, panel sessions with professionals, and the chance to experience world-class research environments.

Catalyst is more than just a taster – it’s an opportunity to build your skills, gain confidence, and explore pathways that might otherwise feel out of reach, especially for students from underrepresented backgrounds. Some students may also have the chance to join a follow-up mentorship scheme, receiving tailored guidance from experienced professionals to support their next steps.
